The Best of Friends

This song has been the soundtrack of my life for the past few weeks. I love it. My friend Crabs (nickname, of course) introduced me to Bon Iver last summer and I completely fell in love. Which brings us to this sumer. Although summer just began, I've already had some of the best nights of the year. A few days ago a group of six of us met up at Coffee Call, our favorite hangout for beignets and coffe, and just sat around and talked for an hour or so. After that, we all piled into one car and just drove. Drove around the city without a destination. We drove for at least an hour or two. Six of us piled into one car and just sat and talked and laughed. Words cannot even explain how much I love these people and what I would give to spend everyday all summer with them.

I'm "Studying" Promise...

So this is me, not only 2 hours ago: 

What am I doing might you ask? Well I'm studying of course. A friend snapped this on her phone when she came in my room. She giggled then woke me up. This is what happens when I try and read books while laying in bed. From now on, sitting up and paying attention...maybe....

Back to the books!

Weekend Wrap Up

To say that this weekend was crazy would be an understatement. This weekend was completely and utterly insane, but in a good way. It all really started on Thursday when we had a study session with some friends. Needless to say we all didn't get much studying done. 

Friday was a day full of hot tea and biscuits, no time for anything else really. After class, work, and study sessions I had to work KATfish for CASA, our philanthropy event for Theta. It went wonderfully. We had a really awesome turn out and couldn't keep up with everyone buying plates fast enough! After that, I went have dinner with my little sister and dad and then we went to our new house. 

Saturday morning, I had to get my oil changed then my dad and sister and I headed over to our new house to paint rooms. My little sister's room is yellow and mine is light blue. They're so pretty! 

Then Saturday night came. Saturday night was my friend Simon's 21st birthday party. We had an awesome time. Even though I didn't get home till around 3 in the morning, it was completely worth it. 

Now it's Sunday, aka the day of homework. I have two exams tomorrow that I must begin studying for!

This past summer was a summer I will never forget. I became friends with some people that I will never forget. Anything I listen to this song, it brings me back to those days.
